THE VACCINES - TIGER BLOOD.
Video for M.I.A. - Bad Girls
Song’s good and I thought the video was pretty cool. Didn’t know how stunning she was until I saw this :O
Is incredible!!!!
They’re a band, I’m assuming (without checking Wikipedia or anything, so don’t believe me!) that they’re a British one.* I was watching an interview of The Vaccines (a band I am currently OBSESSED with, and I know I’m about a year later than everyone else) at the Brits, and they mentioned listening to a band called Zulu recently, so I tried YouTubing “zulu” and “zulu band” but I got pictures of the bad lion in the Lion King, and like, some shit on watch bands… Meanwhile, I was on the site for Field Day, because I was checking out the IMMENSE line up (Franz Ferdinand, the Vaccines, Spector, Beirut, Metronomy, etc.) and there was this band called Zulu Winter. I decided Zulu and Zulu Winter could be one and the same, so I YouTubed “zulu winter” and found some amaaazing shit.
Well, maybe not amazing, but as good as it gets in the sense it’s hypnotic, Bon Iver vocals which are more audible/easier to decipher, and electronicy with catchy choruses at the same time. You can tell I don’t study music LOL. Anyway, I found some amaaazing shit:
Give each and every one of these songs a listen if you’re curious/a hipster tryhard/into the same music as I am. They’re genuinely fantastic, and if I was British, I’d say they were “SICKKKKK”. I’m not tho.
*I checked, and yeah, they’re from London.
@3 months agoI downloaded this cos Jonny Pierce is the lead singer of The Drums, which I lalalalalove because of their first album. At first I thought this was average, but I learned to love it cos it’s super catchy, and the lyrics are lovely. You can (legally, haha) download it here.
The waves will keep on crashing in
Sometimes we lose, sometimes we win
You saved me from myself again
Baby, I don’t know how this will end

All these songs are good, but the ones in bold, especially the Arctic Monkeys one, are AMAZING.

The Cast of Cheers - Family <—when you read what it’s about: :/ haha. BONUS POINTS COS THEY’RE IRISH.
Arctic Monkeys - On a Mission (Katy B cover) <— Alex Turner’s vocals, zomg, will be the death of me
Nicki Minaj - Stupid Hoe <— actually catchy after you listen to it twice lol
MY CURRENT OBSESSION, NO JOKE.
Best, super trippy song atm by an Australian band.
I’ve been repeating this any chance I could.
The video for the original version is cool aussi.
You can download the original version + remixes (including this one!) on their site
Loveless nights, they seem so long
I know that I’ll hold you someday
But till you come back where you belong
It’s just another lonely Sunday
I actually LOVE all of Hurts’ music videos and songs, but this has to be among my favorite music vids EVER :O it’s like a movie, and it makes perfect sense, and you have to watch it at least twice to make sense of it, so it’s like Inception :O but in a minor scale, and it’s so lovely, and the song’s catchy and good and lyrical :’)
